Spotted: MAFEX Gambit Reissue with X-Men TAS Colors

A variant version of Medicom's comic-based "MAFEX" action figure of Gambit is on the way! David Marquez is treating ROMY fans yet again by releasing a print of his much loved drawing of Gambit and Rogue from issue 1 of the current Uncanny X-Men. The print is available from his site and it is $25 (signed or unsigned ) 11in x 16in. Shipping is only available in the US.

Spotter Recap: Galaxy Con San Jose August 2025

Gambit Spotters Meg and Liv attended Galaxy-Con in San Jose on August 15-17 held at the San Jose Convention Center!

The location was very nice and the con was overall mostly Anime-Heavy, but there was a few spots with some Gambit goodies including these adorable ROMY keychains from Kotalketz , X-Men 97 stickers by Liana Kangas, and Gambit 3D Art box by Art_by_lw

X-Men 97 voice actors Ross Marquand, Ray Chase, Matthew Waterson and AJ LoCascio were present for signings and had a wonderful panel on Saturday Afternoon where they talked about their introduction to the X-Men and their experiences working on the show. 

Also at Galaxy Con was Gavin Guidry, the primary artist for Uncanny X-Men (2024) issue 12, who was kind enough to talk Gambit with your Gambit Spotters for quite a long time, and do some lovely remarques for us. He spoke about working with the Uncanny X-Men and Ultimate Wolverine writers to give Gambit a true Cajun flair, since he is a Cajun himself!

Overall, the con was a great experience. There was a nice mix of talent and vendors and some interesting panels for a variety of Fandoms. We hope to return next year!
